Bowls England have published guidelines for the re-opening of lawn bowls clubs and Members are asked to go to the Bowls England link on the Home page to familiarize themselves with the “do’s and don’ts”. These guidelines are changing regularly as Bowls England receives further information, so it is in everyone’s interest to keep updated. Now that we have re-opened for roll-ups, it is vitally important that everyone adheres to the guidelines.
Update on 19th June 2020.
Please be aware that the club has reopened for “roll-ups” and we must conform to the current requirements of both Bowls England and Government guidelines applicable from now on.
MEMBERS ARE REMINDED THAT IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY, ONLY THOSE WITH A BOOKED TIME ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES. THE CLUB POLICY AT PRESENT IS NO SPECTATORS.
The booking system is available now (click below). Please read the notes on the booking sheet and be mindful that “the rules are the rules”. If it is apparent that any Members are breaking the rules, THE CLUB WILL BE CLOSED IMMEDIATELY.
If any Member is unable to access the booking sheet, please contact one of the following and your booking will be entered for you:-

It is important to note that in line with written safety guidelines issued by Bowls England, “vulnerable” people, including anyone over 70 years old, cannot begin bowling until June 1st at the earliest, and even then this will be dependent on rules in force at that time.
